My name is Izaskun Arrieta (Iza), I am originally from the Basque Country (Spain) where I graduated in Law and did my Masters in International Law and Commerce.

While working as a business consultant, I volunteered in animal rescue shelters,witnessing all the behavioural problems (dogs & cats) that owners were struggling with. They were not taught adequately how to interact with their pets which very often ended up in the pet being surrendered to the animal shelter...  

At that moment I realized, it was the right time for my passion to become my brand new profession!. But first I had to acquire the knowledge..so.. off I went!:

-Dog Trainer Diploma (250 hours)
-Certificate in Canine First Aid
-Animal Behaviour and Welfare Certificate by the University of Edinburgh
-Post Graduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling by the University of Southampton (280 hours contact with tutors and 920 hours personal study).

I am a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), a member-APDTIre16-of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Ireland (APDT) ; and a member-12621720- of the Pet Professional Guild. These memberships and attending to Seminars and Webinars enable me to keep up to date so as to bring you the latest scientific findings regarding your problematic pet.
